Community Home Solutions - 2024 to 2025
In my previous role with Community Home Solutions, I produced a series of impactful case study videos that highlighted real customer experiences. These projects combined professional interviews with high-quality visuals - including drone footage to showcase solar panel installations from above - creating videos that were both engaging and persuasive. The results spoke for themselves. These case studies helped CHS strengthen partnerships with local councils, build trust with new customers, and position themselves as a reliable, reputable business. They also supported wider marketing efforts by boosting their social media presence and generating interest for future projects. I filmed footage around and above this customer's property. Then I conducted an insightful interview in his garden. Afterwards, I edited this all together to create a compelling and trust-building case study video.

South Staffordshire District Council put this on their website to advertise the wider Staffordshire Warmer Homes Scheme.

For this powerful case study, I documented the impact of the measures on this customer's living situation. I filmed around the home at the start of the installation and returned at the end to capture the transformation and interview her. I then edited the final video, which was approved by the team and the family.

After preparing various questions, I travelled to Staffordshire to interview these customers on their experience of receiving free energy efficiency measures.
Prior to this, I filmed their property during and after their installations - to show some of the transformation their home has had. I then edited this case study video together in Premiere Pro to best represent their journey.

I travelled to this customer's home to capture the transformation of his situation. I then interviewed him, in regards to his experience.
I also interviewed NEP (Nottingham Energy Partnership), who referred Keith to Community Home Solutions.

My name is Luke Somerfield. I’m a 23-year-old media graduate from the UK with a deep passion for content creation and especially video editing. I’ve been obsessed with making videos ever since I was a teenager. Now I love helping others improve their video content!
