Who am I?
My name is Luke Somerfield, I’m a 23-year-old media graduate from England with a passion for content creation and especially video editing in Adobe Premiere Pro. I’ve been obsessed with making videos ever since I was a teenager. Now I've built up 5 years worth of content creation experience and love helping others level up the quality of their videos!

Freelance Projects - October 2025 to now
Over the past month, I’ve worked on a range of freelance projects - including re-editing and adding voiceovers to five video adverts for a marketing agency’s new client, ensuring they were effective and conversion-ready. I also completed a UGC filming project (no editing required), where I presented scripted lines in 4K quality, ready to be used in the client’s ETF trading campaigns.
Community Home Solutions - January 2024 to August 2025
In my previous role for Community Home Solutions, I produced high-quality case study videos, filmed installation footage, presented on camera, edited social media posts, managed Meta ad campaigns and more!
Video Adverts - 2024 to 2025
Over my 19 months in this role, I filmed and edited multiple grant-funding video adverts to run on Facebook, Instagram and Google Campaigns. These adverts are optimised for lead generation. This showcases my presenting and editing skills. I can provide a similar outcome for your business too.
Case Study Video - May 2025
I filmed footage around and above this customer's property. Then I conducted an insightful interview in his garden. Afterwards, I edited this all together to create a compelling and trust-building case study video.
South Staffordshire District Council put this on their website to advertise the wider Staffordshire Warmer Homes Scheme.
Case Study Video - April 2025
After preparing various questions, I travelled to Staffordshire to interview these customers on their experience of receiving free energy efficiency measures.
Prior to this, I filmed their property during and after their installations - to show some of the transformation their home has had. I then edited this case study video together in Premiere Pro to best represent their journey.
Case Study Video - August 2024
I travelled to this customer's home to capture the transformation of his situation. I then interviewed him, in regards to his experience.
I also interviewed NEP (Nottingham Energy Partnership), who referred Keith to Community Home Solutions.

Cobac Security - April 2025
I edited together 3 short-form videos for Cobac Security, who were involved in transporting the UEFA Europa League trophy and the UEFA Conference League trophy for the London part of the European tour. Despite having little footage and photos to play with, these edits turned out well and Cobac Security were pleased with the outcome. Below is one of these edits.

CMD Films - March 2024 to August 2024
I aided the production team at CMD films by sending in weekly video ideas and concepts for them to bring to life for the ChrisMD channels. 4 of these video ideas were selected and taken forward by the team. This was a great freelance opportunity, getting to contribute to a YouTube channel with over 6 Million subscribers, that I have watched for years personally!
Alongside jobs and studying media at university, I’ve spent the last 4 years creating over 150 educational YouTube videos across the Fitness and Content Creation niches. This taught me a depth of video editing and video production skills. Throughout this experience with my own content, I’ve also learned exactly what it takes to turn information into attention-holding content.
